The penultimate round of the 2017 Offaly Road Running Series was hosted by Edinderry and the completion for the podium places was fierce. Charlotte Kearney (Donadea RC) & Pauline Curley (Tullamore Harriers) both crossed the finish in 18:01 with Charlotte getting there 1st. The 3rd spot in the ladies went to Tulllamore’s Nadine Donegan (18:33). The men’s race was equally as exciting with Paul Mitchell (Tullamore Harriers), Declan Power (Clonliffe Harriers) & Paul Buckley (Ferbane AC) finishing in 16:09, 16:10 & 16:11. With 184 finishers completing the race it was another successful round of the ORRS & we are all looking forward to the final race of the series in Birr. (Photography by Peter Mooney)
The 8th and final round of the series will take place in Birr on Friday the 4th of August at 7:30pm
