The 2019 Offaly Athletics Cross Country got off to a great start today with the sun high in the sky! The Novice, Masters, Junior and Juvenile even ages races were run off on a testing course in Killeigh. The course provided plenty of muck underfoot but you can’t have cross country without the muck! Naomh Mhuire Ac hosted Day 1 of the championships and a very successful day it was too. Almost 200 athletes lined out for their respective races. Thank you to all involved from start to finish.
